This is one of those ahhh moments.....
Loading the washng machine one morning I heard voices from the other room that went something like this.....Ellis: "Who are these guys?" Paree: "They are the Union soldiers." Ellis: "And, who are these guys?" Paree: "They are the Confederate soldiers." Ellis: "Why are they fighting?" Paree: "Because in that time in the United States the south part of the country wanted to separate from the north part of the country and make their own country." Ellis: "Why did they want to do that?" Paree: "Because the people in the south wanted to keep slaves, but President Lincoln said that it was not right to keep people as slaves and made a law that freed them....
As I walked into the room I was delighted to see an education in progress, yet neither of my children realized it. I love it when an education doesn´t feed my children "just the facts", but makes them think, wonder and want to learn more on their own.
I quickly grabbed the camera and snapped this picture. Learning is magical!

yeah, slowly but surely i'm moving away from the middle ground of wondering did i do the right thing? and seeing the blessings in these kinds of things... learning is definitely an experience....
