I am posting this recipe for anyone who would like to try it.
Peanut Butter Cookies
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter (I use 1/4 cup, but either way)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Stir together flour, soda, and salt. In a mixer bowl beat butter for 30 seconds. Add peanut butter and sugars; beat until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture; beat till well combined. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in granulated sugar, if desired (I don´t do it). Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet; impress cookie with fork tines, to flaten a bit. Bake in a 375 degree oven about 10 minutes. Cool about 1 minute before removing to a wire rack. Makes about 48 cookies.

what water spots? is that skim milk?
Didn't I say you are the perfect housewife?? hehehe If you don't mention it about the water spots, no one would have seen it. :-) I just love admiring the way you take them pictures...so professional...I didn't even see no water spots. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Peanut Butter cookies is someone's favorite in this house.
Ling, as Rosie knows, that´s the Felix in me. Rosie, no it is not skim milk, I had just taken the glass out of the dish drainer where it had been drying from the noonday dishwashing. I really don´t like being so, so, well, you know, FELIXY. *grin*
