A HOME FILLED

As I left the house the other morning in search of fabric for new livingroom curtains, I was reflecting on the past several days. Though each day was full to overflowing there was a gentle flow to the days that gave me the ability to "enjoy the moment", to "rejoice and be glad". There was no stress or anxiety, but pure honest pleasure. The time with my children, being together, sharing life, everday life...pure and simple, rich and full.

(Knitted Dishcloths)

I was blessed by my childrens willingness to share in the needs of the household during these days. Paree cooked our meals, leaving me to continue the activities before us. Ellis watched over us girls, ever ready to give a hand.

(More Dishcloths)

I pray that my children will remember these days in their lives and that the memories will keep us connected throughout life.

(Handmade Scarf and Hat)

I am posting some of the handmade items that I have made recently. Soon I will take pictures of our finished painting project, it has been fun; this old gal is proud of herself (grin!)

Michaelene,

If you only knew how easy that scarf and hat are to make. Actually, there is no sewing on the scarf because it is fleece, so I only had to cut it out and fringe it. The hat has only four seams. Way easy! I like to see results fast so I usually don´t pick complicated projects...
